This role is based with Procurement & Supply chain specialising in Purchasing

Job Description

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategiesTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessCraft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal termsPartner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentationPerform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarkingAssess, manage and mitigate risksSeek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliersDetermine quantity and timing of deliveries

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchasing Manager should have:

A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration CIPS - Not essential but desiredProven working experience in product managementGreat attention to detail Managing a Team of three Purchasing AdministratorsAptitude in decision-making and working with numbersExperience in collecting and analysing data

This role is Hybrid with 2 office days per week at Head office based in Cheltenham
