Permanent - Full time (37.5 hpw) rolling rota including sleep ins

Pay £12.61 per hour (£24,664 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as a Lead Supported Living Worker

Creating support plans with your customers and coordinating our small team of Support Workers working to the plans. Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.  Supporting customers with their personal care and medication needs outlined in their support plan Support to attend appointments, take part in hobbies and interests or attend college or work Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too.

You bring

You’ll have or be willing to work towards your Level 3 Health and Social Care Certificate Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working collaboratively with an eye for detail. Experience of creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues in working to work to the plans. Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals.  Able to work using initiative, remaining calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.

Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. This remains under regular review.

Job details

Where we’re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.  24 hour rota including sleep ins Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.  You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
