Long Buckby Practice is a friendly and patient centered GP practice in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire (and close to the Warwickshire border/Rugby/Leicestershire)
We are a 5 Partner GP surgery and the Nursing team includes 2 other Practice Nurses, 2 ANP's and 2 HCA's.
The candidate must be NMC registered
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health assessments, immunisation, cytology, wound care, and other clinical duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and a strong commitment to providing quality healthcare services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
Experience in Asthma, COPD and Diabetes management is essential.
It would be desirable for the successful candidate were trained in coil and implant fittings and travel vaccinations or have a willingness to train in these areas.

Immunisations including child imms and travel vaccinations

We are also part of Northamptonshire Rural PCN and we provide services across the PCN as well.

Experience in chronic disease management of Diabetes, COPD and asthma is essential
Responsibilities:
Provide health education to patients and their families. Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders. Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records. Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.Salary will be dependent upon experience.
