About the Role:
Roles in Concrete Plants are fast paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail. As a Concrete Production Supervisor based at our Heatherbrae plant, we are looking for a team player who can hit the ground running.
Given the nature of our business, start time will vary. Normally, you could expect to start between 5-6am, with occasional earlier starts, as well as additional overtime for late finishes & weekends.
Duties and responsibilities will include: Supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all times Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes Allocating and assigning loads to drivers Stock management and coordination of deliveries Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance Yard maintenance and front-end loader operation Forklift operation and manual handling of bagged productsAbout you:
Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised, Willingness to go the extra mile, supporting a strong team culture Be passionate about safety, with a strong work ethic, and is results focused Have effective communication skills and work under pressure Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position Driver's license and own transport is essential with front end loader or forklift competency an advantage Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screeningAdditionally, you must hold valid Australian work rights with no restrictions on hours or duration of employment. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept Holiday or Student Visas.
