Main duties of the job

Acts clinical expert within a specialised field as a role model demonstrating high standards of quality care and providing clinical leadership to others.

Provide expert clinical advice and education to patients promoting a culture that supports self-management and health and as key worker the CNS will use and apply advanced technical knowledge of cancer and treatment within the speciality to oversee and co-ordinate services, personalise the pathway of care for individual patients to ensure the complex information and support needs of patients and families are addressed.Delivers specialist education and training to other professionals involved in patient care
