KeyResponsibilities:

  1. IdentifyGrowthOpportunities:
  • Conductmarket analysis to pinpoint potential clients and marketniches.
  • Prospect and assess leads throughvarious channels like networking andoutreach.
  • Evaluate industry trends andcompetitors to uncover new businessprospects.
  1. Develop andExecute SalesPlans:
  • Formulate salesstrategies to meet company revenuetargets.
  • Collaborate with team members todevise tailored solutions for clientneeds.
  • Utilise consultative selling techniquesto communicate value propositionseffectively.
  1. NurtureClientRelationships:
  • Cultivateenduring relationships with current partners and stakeholders toensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Serve as atrusted advisor to partners understanding their objectives andchallenges to offer relevant solutions.
  • Conductregular presentations and meetings to showcase product/serviceofferings and addressinquiries.
  1. FosterCrossFunctionalCollaboration:
  • Workclosely with internal teams such as product development andcustomer support to align business goals and provide exceptionalpartner support.
  • Provide insights to managementbased on partner feedback and market trends to drive innovation andimprovements.
  1. Monitorand Report SalesPerformance:
  • Maintainaccurate records of activities including pipeline management andclient interactions utilising CRMsoftware.
  • Generate periodic reports onperformance metrics highlighting achievements and areas forgrowth.

ExperienceCriteria:

  • Minimum of 3years of experience in a Business Development Manager role orsimilar position.
  • Desirable: 13 yearsexperience in the UK retail technologysector.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting andsurpassing sales targets.
  • Proficientpresentation skills with the ability to conduct productdemos.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems formanaging client records.
  • Proven ability tobuild and maintain clientrelationships.
  • Knowledge of the retailtechnology or financial services industry isadvantageous.
