Main duties of the job
Assessing and talking to patients about their problems and discussing the best way to plan and deliver their care. Building relationships with patients to encourage trust, while listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns. Ensuring the correct administration of medication, including injections, and monitoring the results of treatment. Responding to distressed patients in a non-threatening manner and attempt to understand the source of their discomfort.The role will involve, but not to be limited to you performing above.

About the Trust:
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services in or around Harlow, Bishops Stortford, and Epping. Located along the M11 corridor on the edges of London, with Stansted airport nearby, there are a range of good leisure, education and shopping facilities, as well as plenty of green space criss-crossed with a network of award-winning cycle ways. Excellent transport links to London and Cambridge, including a tube station in Epping, provide easy access to city life. PAHT also has an on-site nursery and a preferential car leasing scheme

What youll need:
A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the last 3 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
