In this role, you'll be pivotal in crafting impactful reports for our Asset Compliance, Fire Safety, and Building Safety teams, ensuring data is readily available in formats that enhance our service delivery. Leveraging advanced statistical modelling and analysis techniques across diverse datasets, you'll uncover key metrics, generate insightful reports, and create compelling visualisations.

Your role will also involve conducting thorough data validation and relationship mapping to strengthen our compliance data and swiftly address any discrepancies. Focused on improving data accuracy and completeness within our asset management and compliance systems, you'll uphold stringent data governance standards in line with our policies. Your expertise in data visualisation tools will be crucial in developing dashboards, reports, and presentations that vividly illustrate trends and patterns critical to our business success.

Responsibilities:


  • Work collaboratively with teams across the Group to ensure that property, compliance, and component data (asset data) is robust, accurate and current and that property movements and changes in the condition, configuration and compliance status of property assets are recorded in all relevant systems in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring processes, system links and asset compliance reports are in place and operating correctly to support the effective management of asset compliance data, including data provided by contractors and other external sources.
  • Responsible for the regular auditing of asset compliance data, addressing errors or anomalies, implementing improvements and reporting on the results.
  • Ensuring regular reconciliation of compliance programmes and validation of records
  • Liaise with stakeholders to design and specify a suite of compliance and Building Safety SQL reports, dashboards, and reporting platforms to support service delivery across the Group, reviewing needs at regular intervals to ensure the reports continue to meet changing requirements.
  • Assist with ensuring that compliance policies, management plans and operational procedures are supported with effective data monitoring and control.
  • Support the facilitation of the “golden thread” compliance and safety information to enable Torus to meet our responsibilities under the Building Safety Act
  • Assist with the development of a risk-based methodology for assessing the completeness and accuracy of compliance data.
  • Provide asset data interrogation, processing and reporting for the Compliance and Building Safety Management teams.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the operational plan and the development of an outstanding asset management service that makes a positive contribution to the Torus vision in a manner that reflects the Torus values.
  • Take personal responsibility for your own personal and professional development and support the development of others by providing advice and coaching in the specialisms of this role to members of the Asset Management Team.
  • Act as champion of change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money and risk management.
  • Carry out such other duties and responsibilities as are consistent with the role.

Skills & Experience:

  • Level 4 Data Analyst qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience of data analysis, gained within an Asset Management function.
  • Evidence of and commitment to continual professional and personal development.
  • Extensive experience processing, analysing, and reporting on asset data to support service delivery within an asset management team.
  • Experience of working with asset management and/or housing management systems.
  • Experience managing complex data sets held in disparate systems and maintained by multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience validating and cleansing large complex data sets, liaising with stakeholders to understand and verify data.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and auditing data management processes.
  • Proven ability to build complex models in MS Excel, including the use of power query, macros, and VBA scripting
  • A high level of ICT competence with particular emphasis on spreadsheet packages such as Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
