Were on the lookout for 10 ClaimsSpecialists to join our Claims Academy induction commencing onMonday 9th September in our Manchester Salford Quaysoffice.

Youll handle a variety of endtoend motorclaims across differing heads of damage such as FNOL RecoveriesThird Party or PI ensuring fair and timely settlements forcustomers while adhering to the companys philosophy of claimownership. You will continuously seek opportunities to improveprocesses increase efficiency and deliver good outcomes forcustomers throughout the claims journey.

Coreskills were looking for to succeed in therole:
  • Communication:Youll have clear and concise communication with claimantspolicyholders and otherstakeholders.
  • Negotiation:You can negotiate settlements with claimants or theirrepresentatives.
  • CustomerService: Able to provide excellent customer serviceto maintain positiverelationships.
  • ProblemSolving: Use your data and evidence skills to makeinformed decisions when a problemarises.
  • Prior Insurance / ClaimsExperience: Desirable but notessential.

WhatsInvolved:
  • Undertake roles andresponsibilities in line with the Claims Specialist ProgressionMatrix.
  • Proactively record manage and settleclaims aligned to our file ownership principles and procedureswhile maintaining files within our servicestandards.
  • Be accountable for the management ofyour caseload and deliver against your key performanceobjectives.
  • Accurately and promptly reserve allfiles within our reserving philosophy.
  • Processpayments on claims files and within yourauthorities.
  • Continuously monitor for potentialfraudulent claims and act according toguidelines.
  • Agree on liability within existingcase law and accident circumstances.
  • Adhere toall regulatory requirements including Consumer Duty DPA AML andAntiBribery principles.
  • Comply with the GroupCode of Conduct and Fitness and Proprietypolicies.
  • Perform duties and tasks as directedwithin the Customer & Operations pillar to ensure alldepartments function effectively andefficiently.
  • Continuously assess and improvethe claims process to provide the best possible service tocustomers.
  • Collaborate with other teams anddepartments to drive businessimprovements.
  • Adopt a mindset of continuousimprovement to test solutions and deliverimprovements.
  • Ensure compliance with CompanyPolicies Values and guidelines and other relevantstandards/regulations at all times.

Experience& Knowledge:
  • Prior insurance/ claims handling experience (Essential)
  • Provencustomer service experience.
  • Strong expertisein handling complaints.
  • Knowledge of FCArequirements (including individual responsibilities in relation toConsumerDuty).
