InHealth Patient Administrators are a vital part ofthe team as they are responsible for making sure our patientsreceive the best standard of care throughout their visit. As aPatient Administrator you will deliver a professional andpatient-focused service, working alongside your clinical colleaguesin our dynamic and fast-paced sites.
As an InHealthPatient Administrator, using IT systems and digital technologies,you will make sure that our patients feel informed and engagedthroughout their diagnostic pathway. You will also work withcolleagues to provide administrative support for the imagingservices we provide.
What you areresponsible for:
  • Providing awelcoming and professional first point of contact for all patients,coordinating their arrival through todeparture
  • Dealing with telephone and directenquiries in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring the provisionof information and prioritisation of queries asappropriate
  • Ensuring that clinically validatedappointments are booked appropriately and according to clinicalpriority on the appointments system
  • Ensuringall patients are invoiced promptly and accurately and that paymentis taken on the day, recorded and bankedpromptly
  • Tracking and distributing imaging dataand reports to referrers, ensuring that results are dispatched inline with clinical priority and contractual performanceindicators
  • Checking the pre-authorisations forinsured patients
  • Maintaining stock control andbeing responsible for purchasing consumables and supplies as andwhen required
  • Assisting in the completion ofmonth end administrative procedures for the managementteam
  • Participating in governance activities,audits, personal development and teammeetings
  • Ensuring due regard is given to thecustoms, values and spiritual beliefs of patients, making suretheir views are sought and taken intoaccount
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workingenvironment
  • Complying with ISO standards inrespect of information securitymanagement
  • Reporting all incidents andcomplaints in line with companypolicy.
We are looking forsomeone who has:
  • Skillin administration processes and proficient with Microsoftpackages
  • Experience in dealing with customersand/or patients and know how to handle their queries effectivelyand sensitively
  • The ability to conductthemselves in a professional manner with both patients andcolleagues
  • Good listening skills with anability to present information in a logicalmanner
  • The ability to demonstrate anappreciation of patient care andconfidentiality
  • An understanding of dataprotection and its importance in theworkplace
  • A proven level of accuracy andattention to detail
  • Flexibility in theirworking patterns to fulfil clinical requirements and be willing toadjust these at short notice to accommodate unexpectedchanges.
