We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Learning and Development team as a L&D Consultant on a -month fixed term contract within our Professional development & business skills team.
You’ll contribute to the implementation and sustainability of learning and development strategy within the Academy. Having accountability for a portfolio of development solutions that embed our culture and meet our regulatory requirements.
Some of the key deliverables will include review and refresh compliance learning to drive business outcomes. Embedding the right culture through Induction events and D&I interventions aligned to our strategy. Developing technical progression pathways in support functions would also be a focus in the role.
The role will be based at STC (Coventry city centre) with an expectation to also work at our Academy building in Finham and travel to our regional offices & depots when required.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:
Behavioural development in a range of environments. Influencing and advising stakeholders at all levels. Using data analysis to drive decision making. Writing clear communications in a variety of formats to different levels of the organisation. Evaluating the impact of learning interventions against business performance. Understanding of learning trends and emerging skills.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be considered for this role, we’re looking for previous experience of diagnosis, design and management of a range of development programmes. You’ll need to be an effective communicator, with the ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, bodies and suppliers. Having Project Management experience would be advantageous. A driving licence is essential as you will be expected to travel across the STW region.
