Themain responsibility of the Senior Residential SupportWorker will be to actively contribute to creating andsustaining a positive and nurturing environment in the home. Thegoal is to ensure that young people in the facility experienceemotional security happiness and personalgrowth.


The main duties of theSenior Residential SupportWorker:

Be willing totake on tasks or responsibilities that may not be part of the usualjob description but are considered reasonable by the RegisteredManager or their appointeddeputy.

Providetransportation for young people to various destinations such asschool shopping trips and activities. It may involve driving andensuring the safety and wellbeing of the young people during thesejourneys.

Be availablefor sleepingin shifts as needed. Sleepingin duties typically entailbeing onsite during nighttime hours to respond to any emergenciesor provide support if necessary.


Knowledge Skills and Qualificationsrequired of the Senior Residential SupportWorker:

Recentexperience working in a residential Ofstedenvironment.

Minimum of 2years experience of working within a EBD residential childrens homefor 818 year oldchildren

Level 3 Diplomafor Children Young People and Families Practitioner (or equivalentqualification).

Full UK DrivingLicence.
