This is an exciting Salaried GP role with a short road to Partnership available in the friendly town of Hailsham in East Sussex which is commutable from Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne, and Brighton. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate willing to work for 6 clinical sessions per week. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays ideally. This role has arisen due to the retirement of a long serving Partner.
£11500 per session. 6 weeks of annual leave 1 week study leave BMA model of contract NHS pension

Job responsibilities
Clinical duties
Appointments - Comprised of telephone, face to face and online consultations.
Home Visits - Normally carried out by our Paramedic practitioners over the lunch time butcan be flexible, 30 minutes are allowed per visit unless out of the usualpractice boundary. Home visits ideally should be booked by 12 noon to qualifyfor an on the day visit. Outside of this time it will be at the discretion ofthe GP who may defer if clinically appropriate.
Dealingwith telephone queries from patients or other health care professionals.
Administration
To be carried out in theadministration allocated time where possible with flexibility when required. Mostof the administration will be arising directly from referrals, investigations,results and indirectly (reports, medicals, etc). During other GP holidays a proportionof their administration is shared between the GPs on duty that day. All urgent matters should be dealt with onthe day. This will include Docman, some prescription repeats and urgentrequests and results management.

This may include a mixture of in-house meetings andevents, time away from the practice, either in private study, attendingeducational events or time in lieu of attending educational events outside ofnormal working hours. One week study leave pro rata per annum unless agreedotherwise with the Partners.
