Matron for Theatres, Fertility and Procedures.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior nurse / ODP who wishes to further progress their nursing career and play a key role in improving the quality of care that is delivered to our patients at Birmingham Women's Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The role of the Matron is fundamental in ensuring patients receive safe and high quality care. We are seeking a senior nurse /ODP who has strong leadership skills, who is visible and accessible to staff, patients and their families.

The Matron will be accountable for the delivery of optimum quality care in the areas of responsibility ensuring services are responsive to patients needs.

The post holder will work closely with the Matron for Gynaecology and the Head of Nursing, along with colleagues across the Women's Division .
