KHR are partnered with a well-elished andhighly respected legal practice in East Kent who are seeking aChild Care Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join theirbusy Family Department.

The successfulcandidate will be Children Panel Accredited and possess strongadvocacy ss, along with comprehensive experience in handling allaspects of children law.

Key Responsibilitiesof the Child Care Lawyer:

- Represent clientsin a wide range of child care cases, including care and supervisionorders, adoption, child protection, and child custodydisputes
- Handle a varied caseload independently,managing meetings with social services, court appearances, and thedrafting of legal doents, such as witness statements and courtsubmissions
- Provide expert legal advice andrepresentation in court proceedings, often appearing at familycourts across Kent and occasionally at the High Court inLondon
- Advocate on behalf of children, parents,guardians, and family members, ensuring the welfare of the child isthe priority.
- Work closely with the Children Guardianin representing the interests of children in courtproceedings

CandidateProfile:

- Qualified solicitor or charteredlegal executive with Children Panel Accreditation
-Strong advocacy ss and experience with litigation and disputeresolution within child care law
- Proven ability tomanage a complex caseload and work independently, including remotework when required for court commitments
- Excellentclient care ss, with the ability to demonstrate empathy andprofessionalism when handling sensitive and challengingcases
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in afast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail and excellentclient care
- Excellent interpersonal andrelationship-building ss
