As a Deputy General Manager you will...

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
  • Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
  • Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy General Manager with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.

Nestled in the heart of [Location], this prestigious independent school caters for 50 day pupils as well as 380 boarders and staff and includes not only a breakfast, lunch and supper service but also an extensive hospitality service. This operates 7 days a week.
