Main duties of the job

You will be required to work to a high standard of accuracy, have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the Consultants and Practitioner to manage daily operational tasks and processes.

As a team player you will be responsible for providing a full secretarial service to the Adult Psychiatry Team. The post holder will be required to use computerised systems such as Paris and the Bighand Digital dictation system

Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent ECDL training or equivalent AMSPAR qualification

Audio Typing Customer Care Training NVQ 4 or Equivalent

Experience

Experience of dealing with complex inquiries that require further investigation and identification of a resolution. Experience of using information technology, including word, excel and power point. Previous experience in managing own workload and able to prioritise effectively Experience of liaising effectively with a range of agencies, clinical and non-clinical.
