The work of our Audit teams is essential, not just to BDO, but to the whole economy. Working within a number of sectors, they verify the accuracy of audited entities financial statements for stakeholders, including shareholders, governments, tax authorities, banks and customers, ensuring the stability and authenticity of the financial market. We’ll help you succeed
Audited entities trust us because of the quality of our advice. That quality grows from a thorough understanding of their business, and that understanding comes from working closely with audited entities and building long-lasting relationships.
You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve audited entities effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to audited entities
You’ll be someone with:
ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent. Previous experience of managing people. Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements. Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering. Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures. Project Management experience.You’ll be able to be yourself; we’ll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
