About the Role
As Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the electrical systems that power high-speed production lines in a state-of-the-art production facility. Working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern, you will be at the heart of ensuring operational excellence, safety and reliability.
Key Tasks
- Reactive, preventive and corrective maintenance on cutting-edge packaging machinery and site services
- Ensure smooth operation of equipment; Motors, Inverter Drives, PLC’s, Control Systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimise downtime
- Optimise and enhance automation systems to boost reliability and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Key Requirements:
- Time served Electrical Engineer, min HNC (or equivalent)
- Min 3-5 years in industrial electrical systems, with knowledge of PLCs, SCADA and automated control systems
- Knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal, AS-I Profibus
- Experience of boilers, CHP plant, heating/cooling systems
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Safety-first mindset and meticulous attention to detail
- Physically fit; walking, climbing, working at heights and lifting up to 30 lbs as part of daily duties
On Offer
Guaranteed minimum salary of £51,705 + monthly production bonus - OTE £60K+
Shift; 4 days on , 4 off – 4 nights on, 4 off
