Role Overview

Morgan Ryder is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Expert to join its team in Cheshire. As a key member of the production facility, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems that power high-speed production lines.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, with experience in PLCs, SCADA, and automated control systems. Knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and AS-I Profibus is essential.

Job Description
  • Perform reactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on cutting-edge packaging machinery and site services
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment; Motors, Inverter Drives, PLC's, Control Systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimize downtime
  • Optimize and enhance automation systems to boost reliability and efficiency

In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance and ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.

Requirements
  • Time served Electrical Engineer, minimum HNC (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3-5 years in industrial electrical systems, with knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and automated control systems
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and AS-I Profibus
  • Experience of boilers, CHP plant, heating/cooling systems
Benefits
  • A guaranteed minimum salary of £51,705 + monthly production bonus - OTE £60K+
  • Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 off – 4 nights on, 4 off
  • Pension: 7% ER, 5% EE
