About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Alpla's Golborne plant.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery and peripherals operate efficiently and at full capability, ensuring a continuous production process.
Key responsibilities include carrying out repairs on machines as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance, completing relevant paperwork and maintenance logs accurately, and adhering to quality, hygiene and food safety policies.
Requirements
- Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical discipline, with competent electrical skills and qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent)
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, including the ability to read schematics
- Familiarity with 17th or 18th edition electrical regulations and safe working practices
- Demonstratable electrical fault finding skills and experience in reactive and preventative maintenance techniques
- Good communication and team working skills
