Cardiac Physiologist

We are looking for a Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team, in South Birmingham, on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Cardiac Physiologist with InHealth, you will be proficient with BSE reporting guidelines, providing a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients.
What you will do:
• Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with [1] BSE minimum data set and [2] local reporting guidelines.
• Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
• Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs
• Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals
• Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.
About you:
• Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation (or equivalent), or be currently collating log-book cases for your BSE practical.
• A full UK driving license
• A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles
• A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
