Are you a Project Planner looking for a new challenge in the South West?


RGB are delighted to be supporting a Civil Engineering Main contractor who are currently working on a Highways upgrade scheme in Cornwall on behalf of Cornwall County Council and are looking to recruit an experienced Project Planner.


As the successful Planner you will also be experienced in constructing project programmes and interchanging data between PrimaVera P6, and Microsoft Project software packages. Experience in highways, construction and earthworks is essential.


As a planner, you'll oversee logistics, deploy workers, manage budgets and ensure that work is on schedule. You'll work closely with estimators, engineers, surveyors and architects to keep projects on track and manage conflicting priorities.


Role Requirements

  • Degree/HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline
  • Proven experience of Primavera (P6)
  • Proficient in the interpretation of estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk tools


To be considered for this role, you’ll have demonstrable experience of working on relevant projects within the Civil engineering sector, preferably in the Highways Industry.


To succeed in this role, you’ll require P6 experience. With experience in leading collaborative planning processes, you’ll have the ability to interrogate/take information from drawings to implement an efficient planning service for the business.
