Are you a natural multitasker with a passion for precision and efficiency? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where you’re at the heart of operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork?

Our client is recruiting for a dynamic Planner to join their team in Devon and be a key player in ensuring smooth and timely delivery of products to both internal teams and external customers.

You’ll manage the flow of parts to the shop floor, guaranteeing they’re launched at the right moment to meet our project timelines and will be responsible for overseeing stock levels and work-in-progress (WIP), keeping everything streamlined and in line with industry standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the order book, providing accurate forecasts and ensuring inventory levels are optimized.
  • Fine-tune MRP parameters and drive on-time delivery (OTD) by coordinating efficient product flow through production and assembly.
  • Oversee smooth shipping processes and supply chain coordination, both internally and externally.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer communications, while attending meetings to set team priorities and act on decisions.
  • Generate reports to prioritize workloads and ensure seamless operations.
  • Foster relationships with purchasing for continuous parts supply and support stores by issuing, receiving, and verifying components.
  • Apply lean materials management and principles to streamline processes and boost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A solid understanding of MRP systems and planning parameters.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management practices.
  • Familiarity with MFG-Pro is a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of traceability processes and Kanban systems.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
  • Proficiency with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to analyse data.
  • Aerospace experience is an advantage, but not a deal-breaker.

Competitive compensation and benefits package on offer and the chance to work with a fantastic growing and collaborative team
