MEP Planner Opportunity

We’re looking for skilled MEP Planners to help drive our client’s ambitious infrastructure projects. As a key member of the construction team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering sustainable projects that shape the future.
About the Role
As an MEP Planner, you’ll oversee project schedules and ensure timelines are met on infrastructure projects valued up to £50m. Your responsibilities will include monitoring progress, creating recovery plans, and providing technical support on Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), and Resource Loading.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment across all teams.
- Monitor critical activities, assess risks, and make adjustments to the schedule as needed.
- Review contractor schedules, track progress, and provide recommendations.
- Manage contract programme assessments, delay analyses, and compensation events.
- Prepare detailed reports on scheduling, staffing, and project metrics.
About You
- Degree or post-graduate qualification in construction or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a planner on projects over £10m.
- Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and MS Excel.
- Experience in live operational infrastructure environments (desirable).
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and construction processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
