A thriving Lending Business is core to the success of American Express and achieving its growth aspirations. The International Proprietary Lending & Product Team’s vision is to be a growth engine that supports lending growth strategies across markets.

The Pricing & Analytics team is responsible for driving revenue growth and improved profitability across international markets, both from the existing portfolio and newly acquired customers. The team leads pricing and yield management strategies by deploying new capabilities, developing robust business analysis, identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with business partners, and executing “test and learn” tactics across American Express international markets, while focusing on operational excellence and adherence to all local regulatory & internal pricing guidelines.

This role provides an opportunity to lead and inform lending growth and pricing strategies through analytics leveraging internal and external data.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Execute strategic analysis across International markets to inform Pricing strategies identify revenue generating opportunities.
  • Partner with colleagues across markets and business units to address pricing challenges or evaluate promotional campaigns.
  • Work with multiple Business & CFR partners to optimize Pricing and Line to drive profitable ADB and Revolve Rates.
  • Support Leadership and markets with delivery of new Pricing and Line capabilities and features.
  • Work with multiple business & technical teams to develop/optimize Pricing strategies across ICS markets to grow Lend revenue.
  • Conduct performance tracking of deployed initiatives and develop proposal for enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong quantitative and analytics acumen to support decision-making rigor.
  • Demonstrates ability to utilize financial, credit bureau and behavioural data to develop business insights shaping growth strategies and initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of the economics of lending products and key levers of profitability.
  • Proficiency in Hive, SAS, or SQL.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-Starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
