Accessories Account Manager - Leading High Street Supplier

Based in London

Full time/perm - hybrid 1 day working from home/rest in office


Job description


A leading high street supplier to ASOS, River Island and Damson Madder is looking for a passionate Accessories Account Manager to manage, develop and grow existing accounts in addition to acquiring new business with input from senior management.


Experience


Proven track record of achieving sales targets with existing customers and new business. Good understanding of the supply / manufacturing process with Chinese factories. Strong negotiation skills and proven track record of achieving target margins and accurate costings. A great team player and passionate about design and fashion


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage relationships with key customers, bringing on new business
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with factories; understanding their strengths
  • Manage key dates and critical path
  • Negotiate prices with buyers and factories
  • Customer meeting preparation and follow up
  • Working closely with design and merchandising team, product development with buyers


Requirements


  • Understanding of production process, particularly with factories in China
  • Understand the retail cycle, experience of working in a fast moving and reactive environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customers; meet deadlines, prioritise and take initiative.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel
