To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to come and join our team based at Ibstock Futures, Hilton Business Park, Featherstone, Wolverhampton, WV10 7QZ.


As our Finance Assistant, you will:


• Review and process invoices in an accurate and timely manner.

• Provide excellent service to suppliers when dealing with queries over the phone and over email.

• Allocate cash payments and clear direct debit settlements against supplier accounts

• Update supplier ledger information for new and existing suppliers.

• Prepare and process payments and electronic transfers

• Liaise effectively with factories and functions when requiring PO’s to be raised and receipted.

• Ensure compliance to appropriate internal controls and adherence to company policies

• Communicate with other departments to ensure correct coding and approval of Non-PO invoices.

• Creation of sales invoices, distributing and ensuring credit control addressed

• Valuation of stock, work in progress

• Payroll maintenance

• VAT returns running, submission

• Ad hoc items

• Reconciliations, maintaining key controls

• Monitoring of cash over the various business units

• Providing support to the external audit

• Manage accounts payable / accounts receivables

• Sending out daily KPIs for the business units
