Job Description:

As a Financial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance department by managing invoice processing and performing general bookkeeping tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Invoice Processing:

  • Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate entry of invoices into the accounting system.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Coordinating with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues.


General Bookkeeping:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries.
  • Conducting account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial reporting.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.


Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Preferred)
  • Finance experience from a similar position
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
