Overview


We are working exclusively with a trusted client of ours who are recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to join their wonderful organisation.

This hire is part of a succession plan and will see you work closely with an experienced Finance Manager who will be training, developing and imparting their invaluable business knowledge to you. This will enable you to eventually take their place in this complex, international and growing business.


In this business you will be a key player within the finance function as you have ownership of multiple entities and support with leading and developing the team. You will be a strong communicator as you will liaise with individuals across all levels and departments while supporting in the creation of budgets and forecasts for the group. Your background will assist you in implementing best practice across the function and ultimately the business.


What is required;


  • This role would be best suited to a Qualified By Experience accountant from an SME manufacturing environment. Therefore well-rounded experience covering; management accounts, treasury, transactional processing. Etc.
  • Demonstrate qualities of initiative and drive. There is plenty of room for your to make your mark with process improvement for this role.
  • As this role requires the management of a small team it would be highly advantageous for the incumbent to have some management experience. However, this isn’t essential.
  • There is some international travel required. Three to four times a year you will have the opportunity to travel to the European sites – expenses included
  • As this is an international business, multi- currency experience would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
