The Langham, London; Europes first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Senior In Room Dining Chef to join our talented team in our All Day Dining Kitchen. In this role, you will collaborate with the Head Chef to execute and improve on a diverse and delicious selection for Palm Court lounge, Artesian bar, In-Room Dining and Langham Club lounge.

In the role of Senior In Room Dining Chef, your key focus will be to:

  • Lead and oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality In Room Dining meals.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef to create and refine innovative menus.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with room service staff to ensure efficient and smooth meal delivery.
  • Manage inventory, optimize ordering, and control kitchen costs to maximize profitability.
  • Mentor, train, and inspire kitchen staff to perform at their best, fostering a positive work environment.


Do you have?

previous similar experience, ideally within a 5* luxury hotel environment with outlet restaurants
ability to work independently and unsupervised
good interpersonal and communication skills
ability to multi-task and work under pressure
excellent attention to detail
food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications
