A rare opening has arisen for a skilled Property Lawyer. The successful candidate will begin by managing a busy caseload of residential conveyancing with a view to stepping up as Head of the Property Department following probation. Entry as Head of Department will be considered for candidates with sufficient experience.

This position sits within a close-knit and supportive Property Team, which includes a senior solicitor, a part-time solicitor, an experienced paralegal, and two skilled support staff. The team prides itself on collaboration, quality service, and continuous development, making it an ideal environment for a candidate who values a traditional yet innovative work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing and ensuring smooth, stress-free transactions for clients
- Leading the Property Department post-probation, supporting the firm's strategic growth
- Guiding and mentoring junior team members to strengthen overall service delivery
- Building and nurturing relationships within the community to sustain and grow the firm's reputation
- Engaging in client-facing activities to uphold the firm's high service standards
This position plays a key role in shaping the future of the Property Department. With well-established links to local estate agents and a solid client base, the role offers the chance to make a substantial impact within the firm and the wider community. No referral fees are paid, as clients return for the firm's quality of service-a tradition the new Head will carry forward.
