They are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead the charge in their event sponsorship sales for high-profile private markets events. Key Responsibilities:
- Event Sponsorship Strategy:
- Develop and implement a targeted sponsorship sales strategy
- Identify and create unique sponsorship opportunities that align with the goals of both the events and potential sponsors.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the sponsorship offerings remain competitive and appealing.
- Sales Leadership:
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and ensuring sponsor satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the event management and marketing teams to ensure sponsorship packages align with event objectives and deliver value to sponsors.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential sponsors, understanding their needs and creating customized sponsorship packages.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring terms are favorable and beneficial for both the client and the sponsor.
- Ensure excellent service delivery to sponsors before, during, and after events, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth by securing new sponsorship deals and expanding existing partnerships.
- Regularly monitor sales performance and report on progress to senior management, offering insights and strategic recommendations.
- Explore new business opportunities within the event space to enhance sponsorship offerings and increase revenue potential.
- Collaboration and Innovation:
- Work closely with event planning and marketing teams to develop innovative sponsorship packages that meet market demands.
- Continuously seek out new ways to enhance the sponsorship experience and deliver greater value to sponsors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and apply this knowledge to improve the sponsorship sales approach.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of securing and managing high-value sponsorships.
- Strong understanding of the global banking industry
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience in leading and motivating a sales team to achieve ambitious goals.
