This part-time role requires you to work in-office 2 days per week, where you will engage with potential attendees, sponsors, and clients over the phone, delivering compelling messages to generate interest and secure commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to promote two major roadshows and drive event registrations.
  • Engage with prospective attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders, effectively communicating the value and benefits of the roadshows.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and prospects, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report on call outcomes, providing insights and feedback to the events team.
  • Assist in managing and updating the CRM system with call notes and relevant information.
  • Collaborate with the events team to align messaging and strategies, ensuring consistent communication.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly call and registration targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous telemarketing or sales experience, ideally within the events or media industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and persuade.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to achieve targets.
