About the Role

Join an industry-leading, privately-owned commercial real estate company as an Asset Manager responsible for a portfolio of Business Space assets. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive asset value and cash flow by overseeing the property management process, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, and ensuring successful execution of asset enhancement initiatives. You’ll work alongside an established team and lead on initiatives such as tenant negotiations, refurbishment projects, and meeting ESG targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve Net Operating Income (NOI) through leasing, rent reviews, and new revenue streams.
  • Reduce void costs across your portfolio and reconfigure space to meet tenant demand.
  • Market vacant spaces, negotiate terms, and maximise income opportunities.
  • Lead refurbishment and reconfiguration projects in collaboration with external consultants.
  • Ensure adherence to ESG metrics and report on business plan progress.
  • Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service charge budgets.
  • Support investment teams with due diligence on potential new acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years relevant experience, with a strong foundation in Property Management.
  • Ideally RICS Qualified.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and industry knowledge, with the ability to manage expectations and progress reports.
  • A background of working as an Asset Manager within a shared team, bringing a working knowledge of how the nature of this relationship works.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Initiative, creativity, and the ability to think strategically about repurposing real estate assets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of managing and influencing teams.
  • Confidence in decision-making and handling pressure effectively.
  • A detail-oriented, positive approach with a commitment to high-performance standards.

Location: On-site 4X per week in London with travel to sites across the UK

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and bonus
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and Healthcare Cash Plan
