Our client, a well-funded international investor, is expanding its UK operations and is seeking a dynamic asset management professional to help grow its assets under management through the acquisition and active management of UK commercial properties. This is an exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial and fast-growing firm, where you will play a pivotal role in repositioning undervalued properties and driving value-add strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed asset management business plans to achieve investment objectives and maximize returns.
  • Oversee leasing, rent reviews, capital expenditure deployment, and other active asset management strategies.
  • Manage relationships with third-party advisors, including solicitors, planning consultants, leasing agents, managing agents, and contractors.
  • Take ownership of asset-level performance, including budgets, income, cost control, project timelines, and exit strategies.
  • Drive ESG-related improvements and oversee reporting requirements for stakeholders and investors.
  • Directly negotiate leases, rent reviews, and lease re-gears where appropriate.
  • Support transaction origination and execution alongside the investment team.
  • Prepare and present asset performance reviews to Investment Committee and Board Meetings.


Background:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (2:1 or higher) in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field from a reputable university.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on asset management experience within the UK commercial property sector (office and/or industrial). Prior buy-side/client-side experience is required.
  • Proven track record in executing value-add strategies, financial modeling, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with advanced modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
