London, UK, United Kingdom Residential Living Recruitment Full time

Senior Asset Manager – London

Why apply?

This role presents the opportunity for a driven asset management specialist to join a leading investment manager with ambitious plans to grow and operate a significant portfolio within the residential living sector.

The successful candidate will have the chance to be the residential senior asset manager, with an initial focus on supporting the company’s expansion within the Single-Family Housing sector.

You will work closely with professionals within departments spanning development, acquisitions, and portfolio management, and you will have the opportunity to create and execute asset management strategies for the portfolio.

With the company's desire and ability to build one of the most extensive UK portfolios in SFH while actively considering opportunities in the rest of the living asset classes, this is a fascinating position with long-term career growth.

What will you bring?

Ideally, you will demonstrate the following:

Data-Driven. You will want to spot opportunities to improve asset performance while backing up suggestions with data. You will need to be comfortable reviewing P&Ls, report writing, and Excel and essentially love all things data

Strong communicator. As the business experiences rapid growth, regular dialogue with internal and external stakeholders is important. You must be precise with your communication and confident in requesting and obtaining all the relevant information you need

Solution-focused. Constantly looking to improve and enhance operational and asset management processes through process change or innovation. If something isn’t working, don’t be afraid to make the changes that will ultimately benefit the business, residents, and the ongoing performance of the portfolio.

Team-oriented. You will be part of a tight-knit team of professionals, which will require supporting numerous departments on projects involving current and future assets.

Revenue and cost management. You must collaborate with the property management company to create robust operational budgets and leasing plans. A vital aspect of the role is proactively spotting trends that could drive revenue growth or reduce operational costs.
