Your new Company
This will be an exciting opportunity to join a non-for-profit organisation dedicated to equality and social inclusion, as a Finance Manager, located in Oxford. The objective of the role is to maintain a smooth-running financial system. Reviewing and revising policies, processes and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose.
This is a Part-Time position, 21 hours per week.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your duties will include:
- Produce in a timely manner the month-end financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage and check work provided by the bookkeepers in Quickbooks.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare cash flow analysis and forecasting for the company.
- Prepare financial reports to support various fundraising efforts
- Collaborate with the auditors in drafting annual statutory accounts.
- Maintain and monitor tax, regulatory and compliance issues.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting for stakeholders.
- Optimise accounting systems to be more efficient
- Treasury activities to assist cash flow management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be
- Ideally qualified, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or an active studier
- Prior Management Accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail
