As the International Sales Director based in London, you'll contribute to our global sales strategy and growth across multiple territories, with a particular focus on key markets in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Your role is crucial in developing and managing retailer relationships, driving international sales growth, and ensuring our brand successfully expands into new markets. You'll collaborate with our global team to develop and execute strategies that enhance our brand's performance across all international channels.
Essential Duties:
- Pioneer and execute international sales strategies across multiple territories
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and key international accounts
- Orchestrate market entry strategies for new territories
- Build and manage a network of international partners
- Monitor and analyze market trends across different regions to identify growth opportunities
- Develop sales forecasts and manage budgets for international markets
- Lead negotiations with international partners and distributors
- Ensure consistent brand presence across different markets
- Drive business development initiatives in new territories
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth international operations
- Provide regular reports on international performance and market opportunities
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven track record in international sales, particularly in the beauty industry
- 3+ years of experience in sales in the retail industry. Candidates with prior experience in the beauty industry, especially with well-known retailers such as Boots and similar establishments, will be given preference
- Experience managing distributor relationships across multiple territories
- Strong understanding of different market dynamics and cultural nuances
- Experience in developing and executing market entry strategies
- Track record of building and maintaining international partnerships
- Adaptability to work across different cultures and time zones
Necessary Skills & Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus
- 5+ years experience in international sales
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Deep understanding of international trade and distribution
- Experience in beauty/skincare category preferred
- Fluency in English required, additional languages a plus
- Ability to travel
- Experience working with retailers and distributors in key international markets
