Are you an experienced IT Reseller Account Manager looking for the ability to increase your earning potential in one of the fastest growing resellers in the UK? We're looking to bring on board experienced IT reseller Account Managers who have a minimum of 2 years continuous experience of Account Management within an IT Reseller environment. We're looking for people who are currently working within this space, so please only apply if you fit this criteria.


The successful candidates will be fully supported in their transition to Stone, with reduced first year targets & the opportunity to ensure they're earning full commission from day one, whilst they re-establish their book within Stone.


It's imperative that any applicant is currently working within a similar environment & can hit the ground running in an established, extremely fast growing area of our organisation. Salary & targets can be discussed at interview stage & starting basic salary will be dependent on current years of reseller experience.

We are seeking a motivated IT Reseller Account Manager with experience within a VAR or related field to join our Private Sector Sales team.


As an Account Manager at Stone Group, you would be proactively contacting potential customers to generate business within the Enterprise sector 250+ seats. The private sector opportunities and business requires an ever-increasing footprint across the UK, and this role is primarily to establish this by increasing the number of active customers.


A little bit about the role...


Key Accountabilities

  • Proactively call Enterprise (250+ users), creating run rate business, providing Hardware, Software and services solutions across all of the major Vendors and partners.
  • Gather, maintain and record in depth customer/competitor information
  • Maintain quality of data on CRM system including production of management reports when required.


Main Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and make contact.
  • Build & develop your own successful account base & manage the entire sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Follow up on leads provided for both new and existing customers.
  • Promote Stone’s products and services in order to obtain business from multiple revenue streams.
  • Obtain and record comprehensive information on the customer, infrastructure and their requirements.
  • Provide customers with accurate and cost effective quotations
  • Share ideas and experiences with team, contribute to team improvements
  • Comply with Stone’s internal management systems and safety procedures.
  • Support Stone’s corporate social responsibility strategy.
  • To undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the reporting Manager.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Currently working in a VAR Account Manager role.
  • GCSE Maths & English
  • Experience within a re-seller environment or a related industry to Stone's core business
  • Experience of cold calling businesses with proven success rate, excellent telephone manner and relationship building skills.
  • Proven Account Management Skills selling multiple lines of business into each customer. Experience of planning an effective schedule of meetings
  • ‘Can do’, proactive and flexible approach
  • High standard of spoken and written communication.
