Working hours: 45 hours per week (Open Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday & Mondays off), paid overtime

Start date: Immediate start (mid-August or earlier)


I'm currently looking to recruit a Supervisor/Head Waiter on behalf of my client, a fine dining Modern British restaurant in a super cool Central London location, focused on wild forage and sustainable ingredients of British provenance.

The right candidate has previous experience in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant and is ambitious and eager to progress into management.


Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service

- Lead and train the waitstaff team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

- Assist in creating and managing staff rotas

- Collaborate with management on staff training and development initiatives

- Contribute to basic P&L management, including cost control and budget monitoring

- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards


Requirements:

- Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant is essential

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ambitious and eager to progress into management

- Excellent understanding of fine dining service standards

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
