About The Washington Mayfair Hotel

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join one of Londons oldest and most distinguished privately owned hotels. The Washington Mayfair Hotel is located in one of Londons finest locations, Curzon Street, tucked into the heart of Mayfair a few minutes from Park Lane and offering clients a perfect alternative to the famous 5-star Park Lane Hotels. Privately owned since 1997, the hotel offers a great range of spacious accommodation to suit both business and leisure travellers and is capable of accommodating events groups or parties from 15 to 350 people.

Nearest Tube Station: Green Park

Your main duties will be to:

-Prepare rooming lists for Maids, instruct Linen Porters and organise the workload of Public Area Cleaners, as well as brief Supervisors ensuring the smooth run of daily operations.

-Ensure every room is ready for the arrival of our guests by checking that the rooms standards complies with the hotels brand standards.

-Prioritise your workload to ensure all areas are managed efficiently.

-Manage the rota and labour controls, keeping on top of the laundry, and prepare timesheets and OT forms for Payroll.

-Oversee stocktakes, budgets and other paperwork, such as maintenance reports and safety audits

-Ensure lost property is kept safely and returned to its owner.

-Proactive maintenance reporting.

-Participating actively to Morning and HOD meetings as Head of HK department.

Skills required:

Experience in a supervisory/management role within a 4/5* property minimum 1 year

Experience in successfully managing a HK team, with the ability to guide the team and lead from the front delivering the highest of standards & consistency.

Able to prioritise their workload and has the ability to work in a busy environment.

Strong work ethic, making sure that the guest experience is fulfilled with any reasonable request carried out quickly and to the highest standard.

Great attention to detail, takes pride in their performance and strives to provide the highest levels of cleanliness at all times.

Fully conversant with Opera PMS
