Assembly Technician - Electrical Instrumentation, Reading UK

Position involves electronics assembly, testing and calibration of small batch pcbs and transducers

Must be detail oriented along with some previous experience

£18/hr to £22hr


Responsibilities

Small batch assembly and PCB modifications

Configuration, testing and calibration of voltage, current, power transducers

Functional test of static frequency converters and AC sources

Functional test of Phase Angle Voltmeters (some training given)

Triage and testing of repairs and recalibrations

Maintaining organisation according to SOPs.


Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Organised and detailed oriented

Familiar with Office 365; Excel and Word

NVQ Level 3, BTEC diploma, equivalent ONC

Familiarity of soldering to IPC-J-STD-001

Full or part-time considered
