THE ACCOUNT


At TBWA\London, we believe in partnering with clients to create the best and most effective communication solutions. For Nissan, we do this via a dedicated, integrated, multi-disciplinary team, known globally as Nissan United.


The account comprises of the following:

  • Communications team that deals with developing and delivering integrated campaigns across all vehicle models
  • Dealer Marketing team which manages all marketing relationships within the UK sales network
  • Aftersales team
  • Used Car team


Across these areas, we deliver all ATL and Retail communications campaigns, and work with the client’s partner agencies in CRM, Digital and Events to deliver integrated solutions. Creatively we work with a combination of primarily created work, adapted work from centrally developed assets and primarily developed amplification activity. We also apply precision marketing principles in order to track and impact customer journeys through creative and media, as well as monitor brand and market health to identify and respond swiftly and meaningfully to business issues and opportunities.



THE ROLE


An opportunity exists for a Media Planner with strong online media planning and data analysis credentials, with a passion for digital marketing to join our team.


The role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day online delivery of the account, across new car elements of the business.


To succeed in this role, you will be confident communicating and presenting to day clients, have an ability to effectively uncover & understand client requirements, as well as experience in developing tailored digital marketing solutions to meet clients’ objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Partnering with clients to understand key objectives and success metrics – be the face of the campaigns, providing feedback, strategic direction, and recommendations in line with client objectives
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of campaigns from initial brief, strategy development & digital channel planning through to presenting final campaign reporting
  • Effectively manage campaign budgets across multiple publishers and working closely with internal trading & optimisation teams to ensure performance and delivery
  • Collaborate with the wider digital team to ensure digital integration & alignment between AV, display, social and search strategies
  • Regular client contact including face to face meetings, phone meetings and ongoing email correspondence relating to their accounts
  • End of month and post-campaign analysis reporting as well as industry insights and trends
  • Developing and maintaining partner, publisher, and tech vendor relationships
  • Work alongside a small team to innovate and take a solution-based approach to challenges



KEY REQUIREMENTS


The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following experience:

  • Digital marketing experience in similar agency or publisher, or client-based roles
  • Strategic solution selling background where your responses are all customised based on clients objectives
  • Ideally from a programmatic specialist background
  • Experience working to deadlines and in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Confident when communicating strategies and managing expectations of senior management & marketing teams
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills, creative & insightful performance analysis and reporting back to your clients
  • Show a deep understanding of the digital industry and marketing in general
  • Ability to work autonomously and also collaborate and lead by example within a team
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and impress key clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail, written & verbal communication skills, confident speaker & presenter
  • Excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • Programmatic and SEM experience, highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or advertising are ideal but not essential
  • Understanding of TGI and Comscore required.
