About the role

The Agency Director role is responsible for owning the strategic development and revenue growth of a specific agency patch and educating agencies and clients on how to help meet their marketing objectives.



This role will appeal to someone who holds the view that media should be a force for good and who has the appetite to work in an agile, new, fast-growing business. The successful candidate will be a strong digital salesperson with extensive programmatic experience and a track record of generating new business.



What You'll Do

  • Own and be accountable for quarterly and yearly revenue goals, pipeline management and growth goals for your allocated agency patch
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our media agencies and their clients
  • Sell unique intelligence and ethical marketplace in order to grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with our agency partners
  • Coordinate with comms planning teams, strategic planners, client partners, and buyers within your media agency to create successful ad campaigns and partnerships
  • Focus on consultative brand selling, educating and inspiring your agency patch to enhance their business objectives
  • Be a mentor to junior sales team members



Who You Are

  • 5+ years of commercial advertising experience at a brand, agency or in a media/online sales role (Knowledge of a UK agency is required)
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and the programmatic media landscape
  • Experience working closely and selling directly to both media agencies and clients
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to consultatively sell, present effectively, and the resilience to seek and close business
  • Ability to build a pipeline with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals
  • Skilled in creating reports, and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc
  • A team player, smart, adapt well to change, and have a positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver creative, and innovative campaigns
  • An understanding of purpose, sustainability and ESG across the media landscape
  • Some Management and or Mentor experience
  • This is a hybrid role and will be based out of a Central London office
