To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for an Account Coordinator to join our team based in our London office.


Key Responsibilities


  • Handle running of day-to-day account functions within the hospitality division at Karla Otto London.
  • Achieve traditional and social media exposure in appropriate titles and targets.
  • Support the development of creative and considered press collateral including engaging press releases and copy.
  • Maintain regular communications with key contacts within the world of hospitality, including but not limited to: travel, F&B, design and trade press; KOLs and tastemakers within relevant verticals; wider media, tastemaker and partner contacts in the worlds of fashion, beauty, art and culture.
  • Manage incoming reactive enquiries from relevant external partners to ensure that all opportunities are maximized for client and agency benefit.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders in a way that reassures the client and represents the Karla Otto brand.
  • Administrative support including monthly and weekly reporting, call agendas and recaps, and maintaining the hospitality teams’ contact database.
  • Track and clip media coverage of clients; wider media monitoring to stay attuned to sector trends.
  • Assist in preparing and executing on-site client events.
  • Host international press and influencer trips, depending on client needs.
  • Participate in internal and cross-agency brainstorms and maintain an active interest in the verticals represented by Karla Otto.
  • Create relevant competitor analysis that can be used in commercial decision making by the wider team.


Key Attributes


  • 1-2 years experience as a Junior Account Executive/Accounts Assistant/PR Assistant in a fast-paced agency/in-house environment, ideally within travel or restaurant PR
  • Interested in culture, arts, fashion and lifestyle and can talk confidently and make suggestions about how these elements can be used to enhance our clients’ offerings
  • Strong relationships with press and industry peers
  • Strong understanding of media relations, influencer relations and relevant strategies
  • Actively seeking opportunities to learn something new and broaden their experiences
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral), research, and organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritizing own work in a fast-paced environment. Well-organised and with the ability to take the initiative when necessary.
  • Positive attitude to challenging situations and a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to deliver outstanding results
  • Must be efficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
