Scope of work:


Policies, Procedures & Standards ISMS Framework

  • Define a framework of policies, procedures and standards to support the BACB Cyber Security Design

Lines of Defence, Operating Model and Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Define and embed first and second lines of defence (with supporting job descriptions)
  • Establish clear reporting lines and embed cyber roles and responsibilities
  • Define a formalised threat intelligence framework

Business Estate, Asset, Configuration & Vulnerability management:

  • Update and fully populate CMDB for all assets and components
  • Identify, prioritise and risk assess Business Critical BACB asserts and undertake supplier assurance
  • Establish a vulnerability management programme to identify & remediate critical vulnerabilities within the BACB environment

Bolster security Resilience, Identity & Access Management

  • Leverage Microsoft E5 license capability to secure access to BACB application & services
  • Undertake review of all current security tooling and define remediation plan to ensure optimization

Monitoring, Detect & Response Solutions:

  • Evaluate options to provide a full end-to-end managed Detect & Respond (MDR) service
  • Onboard & embed an enhanced end-to-end managed MDR service
  • Ensure full response process is documented and delivered

Training & Awareness

  • Define and cascade a training plan to ensure staff receive tailored cyber training in one with the role
  • Ensure a Cyber awareness training programme is defined and rolled out periodically


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Project oriented delivery Cybersecurity professional with Banking/Financial Institution experience.
  • Strong Stakeholder management
