JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Head of Warehousing, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring all stock entering and leaving the warehouse is accounted for correctly in line with company procedures. Leading the team in inbound, outbound and stock control.


Role Responsibilities – Days Warehouse Manager


  • responsibility for the implementation of the business plan for the future growth of the warehouse expansion
  • a 25,000 sqft warehouse on set up
  • all health and safety checks are completed daily, weekly, and monthly
  • risks in operational activities, proactively apply measures and processes to control and manage those risks
  • the recruitment and development of the warehouse team
  • goods are available to be despatched to the sites to meet service levels
  • leadership, direction, and training to warehouse staff and ensure they have a full understanding of company procedures
  • and acting as Champion for warehouse management systems
  • all stock is stored safely and in line with the warehouse layout plan
  • excellent warehouse standards consistently in line with audit requirements and adapt current work practices, processes, and procedures to respond to necessary change
  • and maintaining Key Performance Indicators
  • the weekly Warehouse site team meetings to identify areas to improve cost and customer service
  • MHE compliance for training to ensure all accidents and near misses are managed in line with company procedures
  • that Health and Safety regulations and standards are adhered to
  • that Team training is carried out within company policy and legal compliance
  • the team with high visibility through regular meetings and coaching, promoting a culture of achievement and responsibility
  • out PDR’s with direct reports, agreeing targets and objectives, conducting monthly 1 to 1’s
