With the acquisition of KJ Ryan Ltd, a company based in Coventry, focused on the development and manufacturing of high-end interior components for luxury cars, the new entity, will become the European leader in the development and manufacturing of interiors for luxury and bespoke vehicles with a turnover of about 120M€, more than 600 employees and 3 manufacturing plants in Italy and the UK. For further development we are looking for an experienced professional.


Role Description

The role, reporting to the General Manager - Poltrona Frau Interiors in Motion, is responsible for managing and developing the Operations area, through the definition of the strategies and the implementation of actions aimed to achieve the objectives established by the company.


Main activities

  • Supervising production processes;
  • Supervising inbound logistics management, including warehouse sizing and internal/external suppliers procurement
  • Carrying out upholstered products Make vs Buy analysis: subcontractors, flows, etc.
  • Defining lean manufacturing initiatives, process cost reduction, plant visual management and layout, HMS;
  • Defining manufacturing cycles, processes, tools;
  • Developing business cases for production investments;
  • Analyzing the assigned KPIs and promoting the actions necessary to achieve company objectives;
  • Periodically reviewing the performance of suppliers and subcontractors in collaboration with Logistics and Quality;
  • Developing business plans to generate production improvements and cost efficiency, preparing the relevant performance indicators and analyzing their variances.


Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Economy;
  • Having attended a full lean management training will be a plus;
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in the role, in modern structured industrial companies;


Technical and Soft skills

  • Excellent knowledge of P&L dynamics;
  • Strategic thinking;
  • High level of integrity;
  • Team leading and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage change and approach to continuous improvement;
