HR Specialist

Venn Group is partnered with an organisation that supports the UK parliament, to recruit a HR Specialist on a 6 month interim contract. The successful postholder will work with specific teams within the People and Culture team to map their processes end-to-end, taking into account the customer’s full journey and experience.
Please note a Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) will be required to commence this position.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Collaborate with the People and Culture Team to map end-to-end HR processes, focusing on customer journeys and outcomes
- Diagnose and resolve process inefficiencies, embedding improvements that align with service commitments and new ways of working
- Support the implementation and integration of the new HR and Payroll System (iTrent), ensuring smooth transitions and improved user experiences
- Foster continuous improvement by building internal skills for process mapping and enhancing the employee lifecycle
- Lead complex process mapping projects, coordinating resources and engaging stakeholders to achieve timely solutions
- Utilise data to anticipate needs and guide effective process changes
- Cultivate relationships with senior leaders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and embed a culture of inclusivity and customer focus
Ideal candidate profile:
- Proven experience in mapping end-to-end HR processes and customer journeys across the employee lifecycle
- Ability to deliver actionable insights and identify areas for improvement
- Strong relationship-building skills, enabling effective collaboration with teams to co-create solutions and successfully embed new processes and ways of working
- Proficiency in project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills to ensure the successful delivery of multiple initiatives and outcomes
